Every year Ludlow Assembly rooms holds it's great book sale. It's cheap to get in and the range of books is astounding. I purposely didn't take any money as I knew I'd be tempted to buy more than my body weight in books so I set out to record the event.
Arriving at the assembly rooms, I meet a couple of old friends, Jodie and Hellie. I pass the time of day with Hellie, and chat about acupuncture for weight loss, I think I'll give it a go at some point, I'm not afraid of needles and apparently it doesn't hurt anyway, heck I've tried everything else!
I go out of the building, there isn't many people there yet, I figure I'll need to wait until the church services end. I meet up with Jodie! we stood around for a bit, chatting about photography and after a while she kneels down to look in her bag... coming from Dinham is a gentleman, I know him. I search my memory for where I saw him last and come up with the TV! It's none other than John Pertwee!
Ok, I know what you are going to say, John Pertwee is dead, it's true. But the guy that walked past was the spitting image! I only find this out later on, I hadn't heard that Mr Pertwee is dead. I'm very sad about this.
Anyway, after a few more minutes, chatting to Jodie, more and more people have been filing into the assembly rooms so I take my leave and go to work...
